Privacy Policy

Bantam Bash · Effective 22 June 2026

This policy explains what data the Bantam Bash mobile and desktop game ("the Game") collects, why, and the choices you have. We built our analytics on our own infrastructure — we do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Who we are

The data controller is Ugur Cekmez, the independent developer of Bantam Bash. For any privacy question or request, contact ucekmez@gmail.com.

What we collect

To keep the Game stable, fair, and worth playing, we collect a minimal set of pseudonymous, first-party usage and diagnostic data:

DataWhat it isLinked to your install
Install identifierA random ID generated on your device the first time you play (also used for online matchmaking). It is not your name, email, phone number, or Apple/Google advertising ID.Yes
Product interactionIn-game events such as which screens you open, matches started/finished, tutorial progress, and ranked results.Yes
Device contextApp version, platform, OS version, device model, and language — attached to events so we can interpret them.Yes
Online-match performanceConnection-success, desync, and disconnect/forfeit rates for online matches, so we can keep multiplayer stable and fair.Yes

What we do NOT collect

Why we collect it (and our legal basis)

We use this data only to: measure and improve stability and online-match quality; keep matchmaking fair; understand engagement and retention so we can keep the Game running and improve it. Our legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f); KVKK Article 5(2)(f)) in operating and improving a free online game. Because the data is pseudonymous, re-uses an identifier already needed to play online, and carries low privacy impact, we rely on legitimate interest with an easy opt-out rather than requiring consent.

No tracking, no advertising, no third parties

To connect players for online matches, the Game uses standard STUN servers (including a public Google STUN server) to discover network addresses. This shares your device's network address only to establish the match connection; it is not analytics and is not used to track you.

How long we keep it

Raw analytics events are kept for up to 14 months, after which they are aggregated or deleted.

Your choices and rights

Security & storage

Analytics data is stored on servers we operate, protected by access controls and least-privilege database roles. We do not transfer your data to third-party processors. Our servers and reverse proxy process your IP address transiently to deliver the service and prevent abuse (rate limiting); it is not stored in our analytics database.

Children

The Game is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children. The analytics described here are pseudonymous and non-targeted.

Changes to this policy

If our data practices change, we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will also be reflected in the App Store privacy label.
